BROHANAS WEEK 7🤩

Britta was in the middle of eating lunch when an old man rolled up on his little cart, basket overflowing with cucumbers. He stopped, looked at her, and asked, “Do you eat cucumbers?” His garden had way more than he could use, so he handed her two — and they were delicious.

Olari got a front-row seat to a low-flying crop plane, buzzing over the farms just 100 meters overhead. Close, loud, and awesome.

Trevon had a very different kind of week — he scored a ride in a flashy Ferrari and struck up a conversation with a ship engineer.

Mikk had the kind of day that starts rough and ends legendary: his bike broke down, and moments later it got stolen. That left him on foot for the next six hours, sprinting between houses — and somehow, it turned into an amazing day of pure laser focus.

Marius spent time with a Mennonite family, a new and memorable experience.

Lysanna met someone whose best friend had done the program years ago in college — and is now a successful lawyer, proof of where this journey can lead.

And then there’s Daniel, whose host family returned from a trip with a new addition to the household: a dog named Akorn. Daniel is convinced there’s something a little diabolical about him — the barking starts the moment Daniel’s down in the basement room at night. The team’s first line of defense was “The Great Cardboard Wall,” but when Akorn kept it up from outside, earplugs became the real solution. Despite it all, Daniel admits he’s started to grow fond of the little guy — even if the memories of those sleepless nights are taking their time to fade.
