Last week on the field, I knocked on a random door after a long day of getting rejected, and an actual alien opened it. I completely froze, but somehow my sales instincts kicked in and I started my presentation like nothing was wrong. The alien listened for about thirty seconds, asked if the books could teach him how to communicate with humans, and then bought the entire set. Before I left, he shook my hand and said, “Thank you. My species has been watching your planet for 400 years, and you are the weirdest thing we have ever seen.” Honestly, it was probably my best sale of the week.
Olari ran into a rather intense guy who wanted him to repeat “Jesus Christ, I let you into my heart.” He politely declined.
Lysanna met a grandma with an incredible 115 grandchildren — a number that’s hard to even wrap your head around.
Trevon spent the week meeting a lot of awesome, faith-filled families.
And Britta got to pet an absolutely gigantic dog — the highlight of her week.
