Another week of hard work, new conversations, and team spirit is in the books. Every door, every smile, and every challenge brings us closer to our goals. Let’s take the lessons from this week and turn them into wins next week. round two is ours for the taking! 💪

✨Ad Astra✨ – Week 8

Week 8 is done! 🕶️🌸

This week’s competition was for the legendary Sizzler Sunglasses, and congrats to everyone who came out on top!

Next Week’s Competition is.. Flower Power 🌼

This one’s extra special. winners get to send a bouquet of flowers to anyone they want. To win, first years need to hit over 100 strong units/customers, and managers over 200. Let’s put in the work and make someone’s day a little brighter with flowers and results to match!

This Sunday we were hosted by alumni Tom, a former book-seller who generously shared insights from his own experience. helping us level up mentally and practically. Here are a few standout takeaways from his talk:

  • “If I don’t want to be in sales, then leave.” But the truth is the skills we’re learning are life skills.
  • The answer to the problem is behind the next door. Keep going.
  • Don’t be afraid to do things on your own. Independence builds growth.
  • Have a schedule and follow it. Consistency is power.
  • Refine your skills. From pre-approach to closing, subtle improvements matter.
  • Know the difference between a goal and a dream. Dreams stay in your head; goals get written down and broken into steps.
  • Self-confidence grows through this program. Let it teach you.
  • Lead and help others. Give back, support your team, and work toward becoming someone others can follow.
  • And finally: “Just continue the grind.” Trust the process and keep going.

Time to earn those flowers and make Week 9 the strongest one yet! 💪🌷

✨Ad Astra✨ – week 7

Another powerful week behind us, Dad’s Week is officially over!

Huge congrats to everyone who gave it their best and showed true effort and attitude all week long. Whether you won the challenge or simply pushed your limits, you made your dad proud.

Next Week’s Competition is… Sizzler Sunglasses! 🕶️☀️ To win the Sizzler Sunglasses, we’ll need to beat our sit-down numbers from last week.

This week’s sunday meeting was all about emotions, self-reflection, and being intentional.

We focused on how to keep our heart in the game and stay mentally tough, even when the results don’t always show it. Here’s what we discussed

  • Put emotion into what you do. The people who win are the ones who give it their heart not just their hours.
  • Stick to what you can control. Schedule, attitude, and consistent self-talk.
  • Be yourself and listen. Don’t rush through the day. Slow down enough to make real connections, even when people are rushing you.
  • Handle ups and downs with maturity. Your results don’t define your worth. it’s your attitude, effort, and ability to move forward that matter.
  • Don’t rush the process. Whether you’re coaching or selling, slow down like you’re talking to a kid. Be present.

We’re halfway through the summer, and every week is a chance to grow not just in numbers, but in who we’re becoming. 💥Let’s take the lessons, stay focused, and earn those sunglasses.

✨Ad Astra✨ – Week 6

Week 6 is done and dusted! ☀️🌧️Some of us had sunshine, others got soaked in the rain, but no matter the weather, the mood stayed high and the energy stayed strong!

This week’s challenge was Pie in the Face! 🥧We teamed up by HQs and competed against who has the best sit downs. The roommates with the most sit-downs got to smash a pie into the faces of the losing team and let’s just say, some whipped cream justice was served. 😄

Coming up next is… Dad’s Award! 🏆This week, it’s all about effort and attitude. Individuals with the best week in strong units or customers will take the win. Let’s bring the focus, bring the fire, and make the dads proud!

Sunday’s Meeting Recap 🎓 We dove into how to be more professional on the field, especially when talking with parents and educators. We learned more how to research about how different school districts work and how they approach teaching. valuable insights to help us connect even better. After that, it was time for fun. We smashed a few pies, laughed it out, and then headed home to rest and get ready for the final stretch ahead.

Next week, it’s about quality in our work and in ourselves.Let’s keep up the hard work, stay consistent, and finish with purpose. 💪

  • Luise met several professors from Kansas University, and had some great intellectual conversations along the way. 🎓📚
  • Melissa spotted a big black snake crawling up a tree. Luckily, it wasn’t venomous just a surprising moment. 🐍

Week 5 brought its fair share of surprises. From pigs in the living room to professors and tree-climbing snakes. Every day is a reminder that no two doors are the same, and every conversation has a story behind it. With five weeks down and more to come, we’re staying sharp, positive, and ready for whatever the next week brings! 💥

✨Ad Astra✨ – Week 3

Week 3 is done and wow, time is flying! From unexpected moments to major wins, this week brought a bit of everything. We’re finding our rhythm, having fun, and getting better every day out on the field.

Let’s take a look at what made this week special! This week was Dedication Week and it was all about pushing our limits. The goal was simple: beat last week’s numbers in either strong units or customers. Whether it meant more sit-downs, better connections, or just showing up with full energy, everyone gave it their best. And the results definitely showed!

Next week competition down below ⬇️

Let’s get to the fun part as well 😁

  • Hans sat down with three aunties, had a great intro and demo, and they nearly bought. But then… they stood up, held hands, and did a full-on blessing ritual. One of them said: “We pray for you, for all the things you may face, for every obstacle. Bless Hans. Bless everything.” 🌟🙏
  • Karmen discovered a guy with an entire lawn mower collection. about 10–15 lined up in perfect order, from oldest to newest.
  • Luise met a real detective who interviews people suspected of murder. He told her he’s learned to read body language so well, he can often tell who’s lying. 🔍
  • Gabriel saw a huge land turtle, 20 years old and strong enough to pushing towards 100 years. Slow and steady.
  • Merili saw 15 UPS trucks in a row, all driving to the same city. It was like a delivery parade. 📦🚛🚛🚛
  • Michael met a customer with an awesome blue car (the one in the pics!) and got a spin in it.
  • Melissa had trouble pronouncing “squirrel” while talking to a dad, so she just said: “You know… those fat rats with fluffy tails.” 🐿️
  • Esme gathered some dad jokes this week: Why did they take the john wayne toilet paper off the market? It was rough, tough and wouldn’t take shit.

Fun Fact of the Week: Train drivers in the U.S. aren’t allowed to listen to music or talk on the phone while driving, just pure silence the whole ride. 🚂

Every week brings new stories, new faces, and new lessons and Week 3 definitely delivered. From heartfelt blessings to turtles and detective chats, we’re building memories that will stick with us long after the summer ends. Now it’s time to recharge, refocus, and give our all for the week ahead. Let’s keep going strong! 💥

✨Ad Astra✨ – Week 1

First full week is done!!! Wooohooo! 🎉It was sunny ☀️, it was rainy 🌧️, but we all kept smiling and moved forward like champs.

This week’s competition was… SUCCESS COIN! 🥇To win, we had to do demos for 30+ prospects on average each day. We’re really proud of everyone who committed and made it happen!

Next week’s competition: PONY SOCKS! 🧦The goal is to do more sit-downs with moms than last week! We’re all set to give our best and take on the new week with full power.

On Sunday, we had a great learning session about keeping a strong attitude and how to find awesome moms and dads. Everyone took lots of notes 📝

Now to the fun stuff. here’s what made us laugh and smile this week:

  • Karmen and Luise saw a man outside casually holding a snake on his arm. 🐍
  • Zofia met a mom who sold books 20 years ago — before the European division even existed! She loved the books and immediately started helping, even asking if Zofia needed a drink or to use the bathroom.
  • Sander had a sit-down with a grandma whose relative was a book girl 10 years ago. They talked about how things have changed.
  • Karmen asked for water, got a new bottle, and tried to pour it into her cold-keeping bottle, but ended up spilling half on her lap while in the car. She rode around sitting in a mini puddle.
  • Merili knocked on a door. A dad answered, said, “Yes, I know why flamingos are pink,” and shut the door. 🦩
  • Melissa was biking to her next house when an elderly woman stopped her and handed her a full bag of onions and lemons. She carried them all day, but was happy to give them to her hosts that evening. 🍋🧅
  • Luise met a Jewish man whose daughter is a music producer in Los Angeles, working in the same studio as Madonna and collaborated with Metallica! 🎶 Later, Luise also met a woman who’s obsessed with animals. she has around 30 reptiles at home, and keeps pigs and goats at her neighbor’s. She also saw horses in the street and people dressed like it was the 1800s. 🐎 AND she met a family that got their U.S. green card through the lottery! 🇺🇸🍀

Week one done. ✅Let’s keep the momentum going, more stories, more smiles, more wins!

✨Ad Astra✨ – Week 0

Working hard or hardly working?? 😅

The first days on the bookfield are done! ✅ Despite the never-ending heat and the occasional rain ☀️🌧️, we’ve felt even more motivated to meet all the cool families out here! But….

This Sunday we celebrated our awesome manager Merili’s birthday! 🎉🎂 She’s the best, and we’re so lucky to have her leading the way!

It’s been a fun start. One elderly woman even prayed for my soul for five whole minutes 🙏 and said, “I cannot help you, but please dear Lord, let all the following people she meets be friendly and welcoming.”

Many in our group have said the people in the U.S. are incredibly friendly and helpful. 🇺🇸❤️ We’ve already had some funny and heartwarming experiences in just the first three days!

  • Berit met lots of people who knew Estonia 🇪🇪! She shared a heartwarming story: “A man saw me working at 9 p.m. and was worried if I was okay. The next day, I met him again, and he said he was so relieved to see I was doing well.”
  • Luise had a unique experience. she ran into three other door-to-door salespeople working the same area on the same day! 😲🚪
  • Karmen saw one gay couple and one lesbian couple on the same day.
  • Kert said everyone’s been super friendly. One guy even gave him a ride home! 🚗
  • Kert and Gabriel came across a family moving in, and they were the first people to knock on their door! 🏠
  • Esme met a teacher who had a cousin with the same name, from Algeria! 🇩🇿
  • MJ spoke to lots of people who, “could use a set of teeth rather than books.” 😂
  • Sander met some Americans who are big disc golf fans! 🥏 They even knew Kristiina Tattar, a top disc golfer from Estonia. 🇪🇪
  • Parvin… stepped in dog poop 💩 He met people who had been to Estonia, tried our vodka, and said it was crazy! 😆
